How are your kids’ headphones safer than other headphones?
The range of Moshi Kids Headphones has been specially designed to have a Maximum output of 82(+/-3dB) decibels, which is loud enough to rock & low enough not to cause permanent hearing damage when used for up to 8 hours a day. Many current headphones have a maximum output of over 100dB+ making them dangerous for unsupervised use even for short periods time. Please Note: Moshi Earphones for Kids are not a toy and are NOT RECOMMENDED for babies and toddlers under 3 years, small parts may separate and may cause a choking hazard.
Please note* As with all headphones the sensitivity rating 82+/- 3db relates to specification output, real-world output may differ slightly dependant on factors such as player power & music sample bit-rates but should remain at a safe level for players less than 30mw for up to 8 hours per day.
